Hello Commission,
Welcome to my first Lakes Area TV update newsletter.
My goal for this is to keep you updated on what we're working on in the months that we don't meet. Basically an Access Coordinators report in between meetings. Cool…
...So here ya go :)

With summer kicking in & schools finishing up, It was a busy month for live stream productions.

Here are some of the events that we streamed
Hallberg Center for the Arts
Songwriters in the Round
For Starters we did our second live stream for Songwriters in the round from Hallberg Center for the Arts. This was only my second time attending their monthly concert and for this one I was covering for the vacationing Jack Deopke the Chisago Lakes TV operator who usually films the concerts but doesn't stream them live. Hallberg Arts Center was very grateful for the livestream and it’s been fun getting to know the staff that runs the arts center.
We’re currently looking at filming more events in the future and I’m working with gallery directors breeze & Jessica for creating artist stories as well as streaming events in the future.
This particular concert I streamed in May had a fill in performer who was called the day of the show to cover for another artist who was ill. The fill in artist Shane Nelson drove in from Duluth and arrived 5 minutes to show start…
Shane blew me away! I felt like I was listening to a young James Taylor. I believe he's scheduled to be back in July,
Have a listen to the stream to hear him (he's the guy in the middle). It's awesome!
